DAWN - MIRRORS EDGE

I've been working on this all day. D: Finally done with the graphics (at 1am lol). These are scenes from my project in my Graphics in Motion class. We have to make a 2D animation that's atleast 10 seconds long. I decided to go with something animated because I think 3D objects in a 2D environment looks cheesy. I also decided to go with a Mirrors Edge theme of animation.

Mirrors Edge is a PS3 game that you play in first person and you run and jump all over buildings and stuff. It's quite fun but difficult. xD Most of the cutscenes are in this 2D looking graphics so I traced and redrew some of the backgrounds from screen caps and redrew the character as my character Dawn. (I drew them very large, these are only at 18% the original size.) I know, not entirely original, but I just wanted to show what I'm doing in my class since I spent a heck of a lot of time drawing these. xD; The girl looks really scrawny in the game so thus Dawn is the same to go with the style.

Since it's just an experimental project with a program that I've never used before (After Effects) I wanted to do something easy that I could "copy" so I wouldn't be too confused when trying to animate it. The actual product will move and be like one of the videos in the game, just completely animated by hand by me. xD So yeah, I don't think I'll post the final here, so have fun looking at the screen caps. C:

My hand hurts so bad from this. ;__; I'll probably scrap it though...
